Taconic Partners and Nuveen Real Estate have revealed new renderings for One Grand, a proposed 28-story office tower in Hudson Square, reports 6sqft.
The tower, designed by SHoP Architects, would rise at the intersection of Grand and Varick Streets and feature more than 430,000 square feet of leasable floor areas, as well as over 20,000 square feet of outdoor space and a ground-floor public school, says 6sqft, citing The Real Deal.
The address for the project is likely to be 2 Hudson Square or 76 Varick Street, says Crain’s.
One Grand would sprout from property owned by Trinity Church, which selected Taconic and Nuveen as the developer of the site in 2019. However, work on the project will not commence until an anchor tenant is secured.
The tower would rise a few blocks south of Google's recently-completed, COOKFOX-designed St. John’s Terminal offices.
