In the boundary waters between Greenpoint and Williamsburg, the grandiosely named 1 Wythe is in the finishing stages of construction on the grandiose new home of Brooklyn Brewery.
The nearly 100-foot-tall, seven-story structure was designed by StudioSC, with Davis Brody Bond as the architect of record, though they have since been absorbed by global AEC firm Stantec. Ownership is tied to Brooklyn Brewery and when complete will be the new home of their public facing tasting room on the ground floor as well as their corporate office.
The remaining 40,000 square feet not used by Brooklyn Brewery are being leased as commercial offices boasting as high as 16-foot ceilings and 360-degree views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Leasing information can be found here.
Ricther + Ratner holds the primary building permit, which is in the process of finalization and close-out. 1 Wythe replaces a collection of single story light manufacturing buildings
