Earlier this week, Related Cos. lifted the curtain on the redevelopment of 450 Washington on the Hudson River waterfront in Tribeca.
Roger Ferris + Partners, best known for designing private homes in the Hamptons and Connecticut, designed the project, along with landscape architecture firm Hollander Design. The makeover of 450 Washington includes a new façade and windows, and interior reconstruction resulting in 176 residences, as well as amenities.
Sales for 450 Washington are expected to begin this Fall.
“The extensive transformation of 450 Washington’s full city block cannot be overstated. We chose to refinish the façade in a French Limestone plaster to reflect the shimmering water of the Hudson River and the city’s most beautiful sunset views," said Roger Ferris in a news release.
The project follows a string of developments from Related Cos. along the Hudson River, including the neighboring 456 Washington Street and the RAMSA-designed 70 Vestry.
“Those developments overlooking Hudson River Park with protected water views and sunset vistas are among the most rare and coveted homes in all of New York City – the Downtown equivalent to those buildings that front directly onto Central Park," said Daniel August Cordeiro of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, which is handling marketing and sales for the property.
Sales prices for 450 Washington are expected to range from $1 million to $10 million. For more information, please visit 450washington.com.
