Facade Takes Shape at 12-Story Residential

Another ZD Jasper  project is taking shape at 430 W. 37th Street (aka 430 W. 36th), where exterior framing and curtain wall installation has begun on a similarly massed residential project on the western side of the Lincoln Tunnel Underpass. 

Archimaera, again, the design architect of the 128 unit, 118,000 RSF project on the border of Hell's Kitchen, which will yield an average unit size of 920 SF, and include 9,700 SF of commercial square footage on the ground floor. The design features a central courtyard flanked by 11 & 12 story wings with cascading terraces angled east toward the future promenade park, the result of decking over the underpasses as part of PABT's ongoing renovation, expected in 2029.

 The 120'-tall structure is being built by Warner Construction Services. Construction signage lists August 2026 as the expected completion date, no other references are available for the actual timeline. 

430 W. 37th replaces a 4-story parking garage and long vacant lot, similar to it's neighbor Vita. And speaking of neighbors, Sorin, the 3rd project in ZD Jasper's Hell's Kitchen pipeline is rising two lots west on 36th, as the Long Island City-based developer makes a foothold in Manhattan.
