Facade installation and restoration are underway 32-34 Walker Street, where a five-unit luxury residential building refurbishes an existing historic cast-iron building and replaces a two-story commercial space in Tribeca.
Developed by Prosper Property Group and Urban Capital Group, with financing from Kriss Capital, the seven-story building is being constructed by First Standard Construction with design direction coming from both Turett Collaborative & SOMA. The design approach for the new build appears to be a minimalistic stone cladding and expansive windows, highlighting the refurbishment of the 158-year old landmarked cast iron building on both sides.

The 29,000 square-foot space will include one duplex unit, four full-floor units, ground floor retail and one cellar level to serve as back-of house. From the Developers' site, "The acquisition, financed through a $32 million construction and acquisition loan brought together two properties with distinct histories into a single, cohesive development ...The project will deliver five full-floor luxury loft residences and ground-floor retail, — a 19th-century textile warehouse — will be meticulously preserved and integrated with a new limestone-clad structure at 32 Walker"
