Cladding Rises for 19-Story Condominium Development on Upper West Side

Exterior cladding and window installation continues at another RAMSA-designed condo development at 200 W. 88th Street on the Upper West Side. Facade masonry has now reached the penthouse levels with windows chasing right behind. 

The 36-unit project comes from Nortco Development, newly operating on the Upper West Side, with construction by Cauldwell Wingate (also newly operating on the west side of the park), and a design by RAMSA, a fixture of the neighborhood at this point. 

A familiar design language, the terracotta and brick clad structure with fluted lintels and spandrels over arched windows feels appropriate for the neighborhood and unquestionably stately. A more unique element of the design at 200 W. 88th Street are the slightly rounded bay windows at the corners of the building. 

The 230-foot-tall structure features a private porte-cochere, as well many of the other fixings typical of a luxury for-sale project in this part of town; additionally it is being billed as the first all-electric RAMSA project for what that is worth. 

Browns Harris Stevens is responsible for marketing the property, which is currently expecting a debut in Spring 2027, with previews currently available. 

200 W. 88th replaces four connected properties, collectively containing 50+ residential units.
