A 62-story mixed-use tower at 475 State St (aka Alloy Block Phase 2) is now taking shape, rising from the footprint of historic NYC public school PS15, which has been replaced as part of Phase 1 of the Allow Block redevelopment in Downtown Brooklyn.

Alloy Development, a vertically integrated developer, is responsible for designing and transforming the irregular shaped block bound by, Schermerhorn, Flatbush, 3rd Ave and State St, which included a previously redeveloped collection of buildings (Phase 1) that are comprised of apartments, retail and a school.

Built by Urban Atelier Group (UAG), the 712'-tall project Phase 2 will include 582 rental unites, 60,000 LSF of commercial and 30,000 SF of ground floor retail. Collectively the project is being billed as NYC's first all-electric skyscraper, as well as the tallest Passive house development in the world.
Construction signage indicates completion in October 2029. Alloy Block Phase 2, replaces a portion of PS15 while restoring and incorporating original facade sections.
