Sky Equity Group has topped out on 260 East 72nd Street, the New York-based development firm's first condominium project in Manhattan.
The 20-story, approximately 161,000-square-foot building is located at the corner of East 72nd Street and Second Avenue on the Upper East Side, and includes 60 two-, three-, four-, and five-bedroom condominiums with ground-floor commercial space.
Peter Pennoyer Architects designed the project, which is inspired by 1920s architecture. The building includes a light brick facade accented by intricate metalwork. Individual units include large windows and private terraces. Hill West Architects is the project's architect of record.
“This is an important moment for Sky Equity Group as we continue to expand our presence in Manhattan’s luxury condominium market,” said Sky Equity Group founder Simon Dushinsky in a news release. “The development reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional homes that stand the test of time and are defined by thoughtful architecture, quality craftsmanship, and enduring value. We look forward to launching sales this fall and continuing to grow our footprint in some of the country’s most dynamic residential markets.”
Douglas Elliman is marketing the condos for sale.
Sky Equity Group took the lead on the project in 2024, taking over for the Chetrit Group.
