Signs of life at the crater on 3rd Ave between 11th & 12th where SK Development has acquired a cluster of properties on the edge of Greenwich and East Villages.
Construction crews have mobilized for support of excavation; soldier piles can be seen along 3rd Ave. with preliminary excavation following SOE lagging. The main building permit is still in review with Dept. of Buildings, but work has commenced on prerequisite foundation work; a vote of confidence in the expedient issuance of the permit.

Beyer Blinder Belle is the architect of record, with the only glimpse of design coming from posted signage on-site. A 17-story structure with an expressed structure of slab and column in "white" with an inset grid of "black" windows, rectilinearly spaced.
CM & Associates is operating as the General Contractor for the project, with expected completion in Jan 2029. The structure replaces 6 prewar buildings of varying height.
