With a tower crane now in place, construction is ramping up for 70 Hudson Yards, per a new social media post from Related Cos.

The 47-story tower, which Related is developing in a joint venture with Oxford Properties, will include 1.1 million square feet of space when completed. Deloitte is set to serve as the property's anchor tenant, occupying 800,000 square feet of space.

The developers recently secured a $1.6-billion construction loan for the project.

Gensler and Roger Ferris + Partners are designing the sleek glass-and-steel building, which is billed as the City's first zero carbon emission skyscraper. Plans show multiple terrace decks in building setbacks, as well as features such as a lounge and conference space, and ground-floor commercial uses.

Completion of the tower is expected in 2028.
