Construction is about to begin for a seven-story residential building in the West Village, reports YIMBY.
The project, slated for a currently vacant lot at 144 Barrow Street, calls for the construction of a seven-story, 24,800-square-foot building featuring 16 homes on its upper floors and 1,800 square feet of commercial space at street level.
BKSK Architects is designing the low-rise building, which will stand on a 5,000-square-foot site that was previously developed with a warehouse. A rendering depicts a contemporary facade with an offset window grid and a rooftop terrace deck.
Developer 144 Barrow Street, LLC and contractor Titanium Construction Services, Inc. are on pace to complete work by Spring 2023, according to YIMBY.
