Get your plastic pink flamingo ready to stake out your spot because the Pier 17 backyards are back! Last year, the Greens (located at 89 South Street), aka adorable micro-backyards, made a splash at Pier 17, and thankfully, they’re back starting May 3rd.

Open daily (Monday - Wednesday 12 pm - 11 pm and Thursday through Sunday 11 am - 11 pm, weather permitting), The Greens offers 90-minute sessions on 32 high-grade turf micro-lawns (10x10 square feet) that can fit up to eight people — perfect social distancing. Each lawn offers an umbrella, lounge chairs, and panoramic views.

There is a full seasonal menu accessible through onsite contactless ordering, a 32-foot LED screen, as well as live entertainment. Backyards are available through reservation and new dates are released every Monday at 10 am for the following week’s reservations.

And if that all isn’t good enough, a portion of the reservation fees go toward local nonprofits. So forget the ‘burbs, you’ve got a perfect backyard — just leave the dog at home.
